Located in the historic Bolton Hill Neighborhood, Linden Green is in a gated, tree-lined courtyard that is easily accessible by foot, car, or multiple forms of public transit! It's the perfect location for getting to Downtown Baltimore, Penn Station, the Lyric Opera House, the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Camden Yards- home to the Baltimore Orioles, M&T Bank Stadium- home to the Baltimore Ravens, the Inner Harbor, Maryland Institute College of Art, University of Baltimore, Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland Baltimore and many more!
The Space
Spacious and beautifully decorated one bedroom, one bath apartment with large multipurpose space that serves as living room, dining room and kitchenette. Located on the lower level of an owner-occupied townhouse. You will sleep like a baby in the cool comfort of this 1000 square foot apt away from the noises of the city! The apartment sleeps 5 people, though 4 is recommended.
The basement apartment is accessed from the front door and down a short set of steps and is a separate unit from the rest of the house. None of the basement spaces are shared with the owner. The bedroom and bathrooms have a door, but the living/dining room area is separated with curtains from the rest of the apartment. Everything you need is provided, just bring your toothbrush! (though we have a spare if you forget yours).
Guest Access
All spaces in basement apartment are for guests. Access the apartment through a modern, beautifully furnished townhouse located in gated, tree-lined courtyard. The sound of the fountain and the beautiful greenery will make you forget that you're minutes from downtown Baltimore.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy the beautiful private courtyard with its paths, gardens and fountains. Rachel lives on the first and second floor. Guests enter and exit through the front door. Plenty of street parking is available.
The Neighborhood
Bolton Hill is located in midtown Baltimore City. It is part of the Cultural District and is walking distance of the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, the Lyric Opera House, the Charles Theatre, University of Baltimore, Maryland Institute College of Art, and many others! Mt. Vernon is right next door with the Enoch Pratt Free Library, Walters Art Gallery, Peabody Conservatory, Antique Row, and many shops and restaurants. Just a few minutes more gets you to the Hippodrome Theatre, the Everyman Theatre, baseball and football stadiums, the convention center, and the new casino.
Getting Around
The central location makes the apartment an ideal hub from which to explore the rest of the city and the region. Public transportation is available just a few blocks away including a Light Rail Stop, State Center/Cultural Center subway stop, Penn Station, and the purple line on the free Circulator Bus, along with several MTA buses. BWI is only a 20 minute drive or can easily be accessed via the Light Rail. From Penn Station, you can catch a MARC train (now on weekends, too) which will get you to Washington, DC in 45 minutes. Or catch an Amtrack train to NYC or Philadelphia for a day trip. The Mega Bus is also a great to get to town from the NYC area and is walking distance to the house. There are several Zipcar stations within a few blocks as well, and Lyft and Uber are available throughout the city.
Right down the street is the closest Light Rail station. Fast, friendly, and most importantly free - The Charm City Circulator is one of the easier ways to get to major Baltimore attractions and areas.
